Parents! Taxable income is *MUCH LESS* than your regular income!  It is the amount of income left after you subtract either the standard deduction, or all your itemized deductions.

For example:  If you make $40,000 a year and you are single and take the standard Head of Household deduction of $19,400, your taxable income is what's left--$20,600.  If you are married you would deduct $25,900 and $14,100 would be your taxable income.  This is the number we are looking for.  (It's also on Line 15 of your 1040 form.) We collect this for overall statistics about how our families are doing.

I grant the Talent Search staff permission to obtain school records, transcripts, grade reports and test results for my child.  I grant the Talent Search staff permission to speak with teachers, counselors, and administrators at my child's school.  I authorize my child to participate in academic services, activities and field trips sponsored by the Talent Search program and agree to hold Feather River Community College District and its Board of Directors, administration, staff and volunteers harmless from any claims whatsoever occasioned in any of the situations that I have agreed that Feather River Community College District shall not be liable.
